Privacy Policy

This policy explains how MarketSignal (the “Service”), provided by Priyanshu, an individual developer based in India (“we”, “us”), collects and uses personal data when you use MarketSignal Jobs, MarketSignal Intelligence and this website. Contact: neukapssoftwares@gmail.com.
1. Data we collect

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. This website and the sign-in pages use one essential cookie to keep you signed in during sign-in.
2. Where the data comes from
From you (account and resume details you type into ChatGPT, which ChatGPT sends to our tools), and from public sources we collect ourselves: company job boards (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby), SEC EDGAR filings and public company web pages. Public job and company data is not personal data about you.
3. How ChatGPT fits in
You use MarketSignal through ChatGPT, which is operated by OpenAI. Your conversation, including anything you type, is processed by OpenAI under OpenAI's own terms and privacy policy. ChatGPT sends to MarketSignal only the information needed for the tool it calls. We do not receive your other ChatGPT conversations.
4. How we use data
- To provide the Service: search, resume generation, tracking, competitor monitoring.
- To verify your email, secure accounts and prevent abuse.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use your resume data to train AI models.
5. Who we share data with
Only service providers needed to run the Service:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure — hosting, in Mumbai, India.
- Google (Gmail) — sending verification emails to your address.
- OpenAI — as described in section 3, when you use ChatGPT.
We may disclose data if required by law. If you ask to add a company, we send that company's name to public job-board services to find its listings; this contains no personal data.
6. Security
Connections use HTTPS. Passwords, codes and tokens are stored as hashes. Resume profiles are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Access to each user's data is limited to that user's own sign-in. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users and authorities of a breach as required by law.
7. Your rights and choices
- Access and correct: ask ChatGPT to show or update your resume profile and tracker.
- Delete: ask ChatGPT to “delete my resume data” or “delete my MarketSignal account” (deletes your account and data that belongs only to you), or email us — we complete email requests within 7 days.
- Withdraw consent: stop using the Service and delete your data as above. Removing the plugin in ChatGPT stops access but does not delete stored data.
- Grievances: contact us at neukapssoftwares@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days, as required by India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children; contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
Data is stored in India. If you use the Service from another country, your data is transferred to and processed in India.
10. Changes
We will update the effective date when this policy changes and notify users of material changes by email or in the Service.
